So glad I found this gem!!! Amazing view of the mountains. The food is AMAZING !!! The atmosphere is so romantic and serene. Shout out to my waitress Marize who was sooooo amazing. Recommending the best meals and always being so attentive, always keeping the drinks flowing and making us feel so welcomed. A must for anyone visiting Goerge.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ La Capannina Mediterranean Restaurant is an absolute little gem. We’re visiting from overseas and were craving pizza on New Year’s and we honestly couldn’t have made a better choice. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by friendly, attentive staff, and the service throughout was excellent. The pizza was next level. A perfectly thin, crispy base, generous toppings, and absolutely divine flavour ~ every bite was a delight. You can taste the quality and care that goes into the food. If you’re in the area and looking for exceptional pizza in a warm, welcoming setting, I highly recommend La Capannina. We’ll definitely be back! 🍕✨
We had a wonderful experience at La Capannina. We started with the brie, bacon, and puff pastry, which was absolutely delicious — rich, comforting, and perfectly executed. For mains, we both ordered the Italian-style beef fillet with chive smashed potatoes and mushroom sauce. The dishes were beautifully prepared and full of flavour. Everything was cooked perfectly and incredibly satisfying. What really stood out was the service. The chef was very friendly and personally brought out our mains, checking in on us a few times to make sure everything was to our liking, which made the experience feel warm and personal. A fantastic meal with great food and genuine hospitality. We’ll definitely be back.
What a gem in George. When we came we were welcomed by the head chef and immediately felt at home. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly and even cracked a joke or two. The food itself was simply excellent. Do yourself a favour and try the bacon and brie. My osso buco was perfectly cooked and elegantly presented. We will definitely visit again!
